📚 Whether your child is new to Uphaus or returning, all students must be registered every school year.

Important Parent Portal Tips

Only one Parent Portal account: If you have multiple children in AISD, please do not create a new account. Add each child to the existing Parent Portal account you already use.
Do not register the same child twice: If something goes wrong during registration, please do not submit a second application. Duplicate registrations create an extra student ID and delay processing.

👶 Pre‑K 3: Child must be 3 years old on or before September 1
🧒 Pre‑K 4: Child must be 4 years old on or before September 1
🎒 Kindergarten: Child must be 5 years old on or before September 1

📚 Documents Needed to Register a New Student in Austin ISD

Families will need to provide:

✅ Birth certificate or passport
✅ Current immunization record
✅ Proof of residency (utility bill, lease, or mortgage)
✅ Parent/guardian photo ID
